It's an inland sea with a single feeder river and my region survives because of it.
There are absolutely monsters in it however, so there's that.

I think they absolutely would be. There's a place sort of like that in the connected city Insincerity, but I can tell you through experience using it too much causes your memories to start to fade. They came back, but it's an insidious thing to be careful of.

More like VR. Virtual reality. Except it puts your brain on a specific wave length so you're living that moment

Joytoys exist, some of them work in brothels and some of them do their own thing

Cheaper to use a BD though and Night City is a hard place to have an abundance of scratch. Clubs usually have an area reserved just for BDs

Hard to explain it exactly but a BD carries the sensations and feelings of the person who originally recorded it. Means you get to feel those same things while you're experiencing it through the original recorder

Had a couple of gigs related to XBDs too. Extreme BDs. I don't judge people and what they're into but the moment it starts harming others that's when it's got to stop

Guess so? It's the brain waves being recorded. All the brain activity gets digitally recorded n then people use a BD wreath to play it back by feeding it into their own neural network

XBDs are more extreme kinks usually illegal. There's gangs and individuals that specialize in making XBDs. Usually not consensually to get the genuine reaction from the victim for recording into the XBD

So long as you were careful for who got their hands on that sort of ability, doubt there'd be much room for that sort of danger to take root too quickly here.
