[ Despite how fucked up he feels about everything going on, everything he knows second-hand is waiting for them at home, he can feel the thrill of excitement at the idea. Traveling with Kerry, seeing new places. Just being on the move and exploring new parts of the world he's never seen before. ]

They got olives for my martinis with nomad caravans?

[He has spent time off the grid before. Every time he visits his guru that's the experience there. But he's not really the type to travel the way nomads do.]

[ Even if he had to steal them, he'd make sure they had some. It's not exactly a nomad specialty, but for Kerry he's willing to make an exception. ]

Life on the road's not really 'bout what you have beyond food and makin' sure whatever you're driving can keep up.

Some gigs got their bonuses though. I ever tell you 'bout that time we found ten boxes of oranges?

[ Fresh fruit was always a good find, and whether or not they found the oranges or the oranges were part of a bigger job they were running... he'll let Kerry explore that idea on his own. ]

Holy shit. Real oranges? Like, real 'ganic shit? [The way that Kerry's brow raises, it's clear he isn't sure he believes it. He doesn't think V would lie to him, but he needs more details.]

[ It's such a gonk statement that V laughs, arms shifting to embrace Kerry as soon as he's settled again.

The yawn, when it comes, is wide, lashes fluttering closed as he tries his best to relax into some kind of sleepy state. ]
